Reg Valentine is one of the World's most experienced divers. He started diving in the early 1950's and is now planning a dive for his 80th birthday. In that time he has seen the sport progress from the truly pioneering days of the first users of scuba, and indeed was acquainted with Hans Hass and Jacques Couteau.Reg's adventurous nature led him to dive around the globe, his drive and determination resulted in the establishment of several sport dive centres and schools including the first in London and his organisational and leadership qualities led him to become Chairman of BSAC during its fastest period of expansion worldwide.Reg has meticulously recorded not only his own diving experiences but those of the many with whom he has dived and trained over the years.
